Thank God for a Pope who teaches mercy and compassion, rather than the heretical notion that the Church understands God’s will so clearly it can write universally applicable laws describing how each individual must be judged, right here, on Earth, by men who have little to no actual experience comparable to the lives they deem themselves competent to judge.

huh? and pop-up political puppet has EXPERIENCE in FAMILY MATTERS? like raising children? paying the mortgage … bills … dealing with drugs, crime … college tuition and … giving birth, being female and …
the SPIRIT OF THE LIVING GOD.

    hmm …

      2103?

BEIJING (AP) — More than 80 percent of China’s underground water drawn from relatively shallow wells used by farms, factories and mostly rural households is unsafe for drinking because of pollution, a government report says.

The Water Resources Ministry study posted to its website Tuesday analyzed samples drawn in January from 2,103 wells used for monitoring in the country’s major eastern flatland watersheds.

Most scholars seem to think that in this parable, the King Jesus is referring to is himself. Just google it.

I did because I was curious about it when I first began reading Max’s comments. It was quite an eye opener.

    what do scholars know, benjamin?

    😀 😀 😀

is it that you just wanna hate jesus? and you said you are jewish, ben? hmm … take care that they don’t accuse you of anti-christian intent … no different from anti-gay … anti-semitism and …

let’s settle this once and for all …

      Luke 19:11-27

11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.

12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.

15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.

16 Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.

17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

18 And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.

19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

20 And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:

21 For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.

22 And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:

23 Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?

24 And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.

25 (And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)

26 For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.

27 But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.

the maker of the wine is speaking on the time of the day where “man” is called to deliver his countenance. where did he spent his “time” (a WOMAN … metaphorically speaking) in the day of … TRUTH (his deliverance). in ignorance? pandering to his party affiliates for universal ideology, despite the wickedness … despite the injustice … despite the lack of freedoms … despite the hypocrisy within its ranks … despite the partiality … despite the adjunct heroism … despite the falsity and deception … despite the careless work and word … …… ….. dishonesty.

slaying BEFORE ME is not understood in the realm of misdeeds … or, misleading enterprise, such as scholarly agendas … that which panders to its own sentiment. if you understand this you begin to understand how it is that the Writings were misinterpreted.
ONE MUST UNDERSTAND WHAT IS “ME” before he can understand what is meant in:

      slay them before me …

if you never care to know, instead HAPPY to satiate in ignorance … well then, that is your choice but do not speak on what you cannot possibly know from where you sit.
      but we will share this:

it has to do with YOUR OWN INNER DIMENSIONS … calling one to acquiesce in virginal finding. could it be “the king” within that speaks 😉

      tsk-tsk … the irony …

if you care only to throw stones at that Woman … you are just a milk bud.

(doresse) 118 [114]. Simon Peter says to them: “Let Mary go out from our midst, for women are not worthy of life!” Jesus says: “See, I will draw her so as to make her male so that she also may become a living spirit like you males. For every woman who has become male will enter the Kingdom of heaven.”

        Gospel of THOMAS

sound horrid? afraid of this, ben? it speaks of THE KING within MARY (also metaphor) …

and what better way to enter the bridal chamber? which means the KING is also Queen … 😮

        and that marriage spoken of in PAUL’s verse is … a MARRIAGE WITHIN {THIS}

man has far to go BEFORE ‘he’ gets to the place of ‘me’ …

        or should I say we

bottom line … an atheist cannot use Spiritual Language of the NEW testament to accuse … to push agenda to blame JESUS for murder … because they do not believe in Spirit. seems odd that an atheist would decide to look up “scholars” to solve the ‘execute them in front of me’ … as if this is creed … fact … evidence … that JESUS either killed people or told others to kill people (same scholars that promote the leviticus agenda? or do these scholars ignore these books and go after JESUS, to try to make him out to be a murderer?)

and where in those parables –illustrations–do we read that those apostles picked up a sword and murdered the “enemy” … doing as JESUS commanded … ? you won’t find it. so … cherry-picking scholars to open your eyes … to try push a verdict is, well … not exactly honest, more like …

    • opheliart permalink

you posturing atheists will not win on these grounds … you simply cannot use a language you do not understand in any means of intelligence.

*note: … and this goes for religions … using the religionist’s sacred texts won’t work if you are attempting reveal evil or sordid intent. you must go deeper into the deluge.

      • opheliart permalink

        as for the Writings …
do not blame ME because you do not understand the LANGUAGE!

    get this …

the vatican (rcc) is trying to distance the pope from kim davis … LOL! lie they did not have an anti-SSM agenda? speaking of knowing them by their fruits! raise your hand if you believe the vatican.

this is the same vatican that has allowed the clergy/staff child sexual abuse. oh riiiiight … and if they spend as much time on these horrid cases and the lies and coverups as they do pretending the pope is impartial … there would be a lot less suffering, hypocrisy and tax dollars ending up in the bishops’ pockets!

    wow … just wow

and the people believe this pope is being honest? ask him DIRECTLY and see what happens instead of all this denial

“Church sources say Francis himself was upset” with Vigano?? Not a shred of factual evidence was ever presented that this was so. That story was entirely concocted by the media intent on creating “saint” Pope Francis. After meeting with Davis, the pope said that “government employees” have the “human right” of “conscientious objection.” He has never used that phraseology about gov’t employees before or since. The pope has expressed his opposition to same-sex marriage dozens of times and as recently as last week’s Amoris Laetitia.
