hiring for what?

February 8, 2016

This is a country for everybody … to do what they want …

then why are women still denied influential seats?

Wheaton provost apologizes to Larycia Hawkins; she’s leaving

This is precisely why I never hire graduates from these types of religious colleges…they cannot handle the pluralistic realities of the world. What a shame for all involved….and how embarrassing for anyone who is an alumni.

pluralistic realities of the world … ? this commenter just dropped a bomb. did he intend to do it … send a message … or is he telling us how he operates his company/business … based on whether or not a person believes as he feels they should. hmm … I suppose brendan would have to explain the type of work he is in and … what he means by …

“cannot handle the pluralistic realities … of the world”

in his post, one can’t help but ask:

what’s the point of religious freedom in a society that rules you out if you are not like larycia hawkins … or would that be wheaton college?

    that law obama signed …

does it protect women from the brendan in the comment? or it it that business owners don’t hire those that do not comply with his standards … what he demands in the workplace (his PLURALITY)

hmm … where have we seen that before?

can you just hear the interview?

employer: are you pluralistic according to the world?
employer: you are from wheaton college? sorry, we don’t hire your kind.

employer: you are from Islamic School of ___? sorry, we don’t hire your kind.

employer: you are a woman wanting the position of bishop? sorry we don’t hire …
oh, wait … these are INTERNAL affairs 😉
    *sort of like taxes———-yes?

face it … jew, christian, muslim, catholic … even india, beliefs and practices are all over the place, in and out of work … man is primarily indebted to his job prospects and how much money he makes. he gets wedded to the circle (band/ring) of fire … and hire … for deeds within this confined libation. it is what it is … and man inflated the wellspring of TRUTH as he was reared in societal ways. democracy is what men make it. obama’s ideologic democracy is only as good or as bad as man agrees, serves, supports and pays into its secular face. like religion, tribal audacity is chief coming in and doing what he wants—what he can based on the secular input-output. secular being ‘of its day’. this is man’s friend and foe … depending on where he sits. to one, it is unjust, ignorant … unfaithful … to another, it’s freedom to do as he desires.

this morning I was once again reminded that the atheist and the liberalist will be out, while “the gods” will be in. 😀
actually, religion will rule and CLASH and … is why we spoke of zionism as a judicial not religion.

      • opheliart permalink

hey, baby, history repeats … just not exactly the same.

  3. opheliart permalink

let’s just say that larycia hawkins, pope fran and their creed became the one world “religion” … and my sharing from the previous post:

if you are a literalist of those “holy books” … you may subscribe to the ‘abrahamic’ religious practice and study, but as a gnostic, a believer in Truth through the “prophet”, understood in gnosis as GOD, Lord, redeeming Face, perpetual listener, advocate on Life (foundation “the church” spoken of in Matthew) … you are not inclined to confuse or be confused on what is Spirit of the Living God. the mystery (those with ears to hear) is an ever present Light not in debt or carried by abraham or its tribal customs, practices and loyalties … as we believe these to be evolutionary metaphor, of Spiritual Language. we MOVE OUT of these confines to experience the God of the Living. why else did the illustration of Jesus dying on the cross and our taking up {this} reveal God as Spirit?

—-and no one was allowed to speak out in opposition for this is considered BLASPHEMY, or inciting evil or some such thing … and I was arrested and sentenced to be judged by a jury, what the law states as, “a jury of my peers”, would it really be a jury of MY peers? no, it would not be a jury of “my” peers (and do take note of the pontiff pilate in the day of JESUS. what did the people choose? and still remain in denial of this choosing?) now, what of the atheist? what if he said something in opposition of that god, would he lose everything … reputation, job … no one will hire him … strife erupts within his household and he loses his family … becomes destitute …

people do not understand the system and how it works for or against you depending on where you sit—what men and women are willing to support, sometimes in ignorance, sometimes out of fear … sometimes because it makes for them what they desire.

  4. opheliart permalink

hmm … this ties in with much of what we speak … will post it here but will comment later

Of course, Catholics can vote for whomever they wish. The question is whether or not they will burn in Hell for it.

    • opheliart permalink

was about to share on the article but thought i would check in again to hear what people had to say.

      two comments caught my attention:

      C Moreno February 8, 2016 at 12:52 pm
Wow, you’re kidding right? JPII was NOT A SOCIALIST! And your ‘view’ of who is a saint isn’t important. You don’t get to decide such things. Sorry you aren’t the authority of the Church…THANK GOD!!
Wow, I’m so shocked at the ignorance of some Catholics. Please Catechize yourself. It’s embarrassing. And I’m not even trying to be mean. You are the very Catholic that gives wrong information to those that hate the church to use against it. Please stop speaking as a Catholic. You’re too ignorant in the faith to speak for it.

      and …

      C Moreno February 8, 2016 at 12:50 pm
Wrong, a FAITHFUL Catholic can not vote for him. He supports too much that is outside of the faith and in very critical areas. If we support him, we support what our faith deems as evil therefore making our vote sinful as support for evil. Catholics, if you are not well educated in your faith, please do so before you vote. Look up what the church calls ‘The Non-Negotiables.” A true, faithful Catholic who wants to stay in good standing in the Church (and therefore still receive Communion with the church by being IN COMMUNION WITH HER) must vote according to their faith. Otherwise, you put yourself outside…and should not receive communion if you oppose your own faith. Don’t listen to folks outside of the church such as this man to tell you what your church says you shouldn’t do. What’s more important, your desires, or your eternity? If you don’t believe then you aren’t Catholic and free to do whatever. You are never however free of consequences of your choices.

and I posted this AFTER I posted the John passages (see below) 😉

        saw that coming, too?

this is what I had to endure while on the amazon discussion forums several yrs ago. I was sent to ‘experience’ and SHARE on these venues (forums, as well as go to various parishes)
instruction was needed and SPIRIT sees what is within these ‘places’ through the experience of one in the Spirit.

the understanding is: inspecting the vineyards.

of course I was denied, rejected … aborted, even … and … and I was harassed in my business. yep. religionists of this sort are v-e-r-y fearful of losing ground.

those catholics would still say today that i am doing satan’s work, while hiding behind their deceptive and poor behavior. what do you believe? the gr orthodox? hmm, no … I sense they know what they did and are ashamed. the question is: what will they do about it … and the corndog catholics like c moreno?

some were lovebombing on the threads (women trying to get the men fir their dying priesthood) for their opus dei. when I showed some SPIRITUAL TENACITY, they freaked … it was like watching roaches scatter when you walk into a room and turn on a light 😀 … they would then reconvene with a strategy. if you say anything they accuse you of paranoia, or some other mental/chemical imbalance … not admitting they sent out another to “threaten” you. they act all sweet and innocent but if you challenge their beliefs, practices or actions, or that they just might be wrong in their oblique doctrine … watch the claws come out …

so, nonbelievers … are you catholic in mindset? are you paying into and supporting the catholic familiar? are you elevating pope fran in his intrinsically evil methodology? or the jp2 of the grand stage of metronymics? who/what is YOUR god? he more crest you give those boomers … the more your voice is shushed. you see, the people get to choose. you build numbers living and breeding in ignorance … you re-pete … as history repeats.

what do you choose? remember, there are loads of dishonest people out there—ONLINE—paying huge bucks—to deny you a seat. and certainly to deny one like me … 😉

        what say you?

Trump is telling a town hall in Salem that waterboarding is “peanuts,” compared to what Islamic State militants are doing. “It’s fine,” Trump says of waterboarding. “And much tougher than that is fine. When we’re dealing with these animals we can’t be soft and weak like our politicians.”

He says the country’s enemies are “laughing like hell at the United States” for even questioning the technique.

ok, pulled this from a yahoo article … yahoo 😦
this is going to be trump’s spiral …
we knew this was coming. it was just a matter of course for one of his make and model.

why we did not worry about trump … saw this coming and … what we shared earlier on the candidates. first of all, if I know anything about new englanders … water boarding is not really their thing. snowboarding, yes … but water boarding? nah, not seeing it. change is a-comin’

    • opheliart permalink

and any new englander that believes these tactics to be “the way” to change … growth … evolving into human beings needs to go back to the Writings where Jesus says …

“Make the people sit down.” Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

      • opheliart permalink

        first, regarding JOHN …
Jesus saith unto him (PETER), If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

one must understand what this is before one can realize the significance of “in number about five thousand”.

probably more than anywhere else in the Writing, the passage where Jesus states JOHN to remain (tarry) till I come demonstrates that the roman catholic church, and all the other “churches” or church methodology … is not the church Jesus spoke of in Matthew (on this rock I will build my church). can YOU see it?

“In many respects, democratic socialism was and is close to Catholic social doctrine and has in any case made a remarkable contribution to the formation of a social consciousness” (Pope Benedict XVI).

    Read and learn my friend.

drwho13, catholic social doctrine and socialism are not exactly the same beef, dear one. remember, “catholic” conscience was born out of catholicism, social catholicism of its day which is ROMAN catholic— “universal” —teaching/understanding. people forget that this is a mental condition or state of mind—a thought wave of indulgences. the same reason you assumed my question to bernie about the heroin epidemic in VT was BLAMING bernie for the heroin epidemic … not so; as he is a VT senator and a public servant REPRESENTING that state … it is and was a democratic question … yes? no blame involved unless he is guilty of neglect or law constituting impractical senseless and … ad this would be what the people and other candidates would need to discover should they be so inclined. you are indeed catholic, drwho13 in your “comprehension”.

one might say to you: learn to read or … learn to comprehend what you read in a more demographic way 😉

    • opheliart permalink

“Unfortunately it’s not quite as simple as that. There are different forms of socialism.”

huh, I just started to read the link posted in drwho13’s comment and what do ya know …

*I will finish reading the article then I will comment more succinctly

      • opheliart permalink

okay, it is the same old same old …

we shared earlier (OWA I think) that socialism like any “ism” does not work. you may have some success in areas but the method has never been successful. why?

roman catholic doctrine and islam and mormonism and … and … and … and … and all those people feeding in religious circles. why do you think communist leadership always wanted to do away with religion … or keep it silenced, low-key and small? and why roma did business with mussolini and other dictators? the rcc hated communism while wearing fascist hats, playing politics and certainly not representing the MINISTRY of the Christ, and is why we pooh-poohed the catholic marxist liberation theology. we said it is fascist marxism 😀

again, where are the numbers? the growing numbers of men, women and children? for roma it’s never been about helping poor and destitute because they have always needed these to survive! as catholics got better jobs, more education … more property … another round of poor somewhere had to fill in for the rcc to be the rcc . the hierarchy is the bull of the field in these grounds, folks and it will USE migrants … refugees … in areas to REBUILD its bases … its power houses … its political stem. don’t be daft! the rcc has manipulated the citizens of the US like f-ing dough balls ! along with many others …

look at latin america for crying out loud! the rcc wants others to pay for its failure to serve the people in a manner proper … even using its own indoctrinated as “martyrs” … look at their history! and islam is its their brother.

welcome to the world of caliphate design … now it is an art difficult to swallow—eh, cath-o-licks?

like we have been saying and saying … remove the hierarchies 😉 and any presidential admin doing business with these, supporting these using these … for their own policy and agenda. why do you think we were like: obama, what in hell are you doing/!

and we caution bernie sanders on his pope fran imam praise, support and any photo ops upcoming

Q: Why do so many women still die in pregnancy or childbirth?

A: In 2015, an estimated 303 000 women will die from complications related to pregnancy or childbirth. In addition, for every woman who dies in childbirth, dozens more suffer injury, infection or disease.

    • opheliart permalink

just a reminder: it is not uncommon to choose those guilty of the crime of covering up abuse or of the crime itself … for position of alliances between two organizations of a similar steed, need and breed. and it is not uncommon for popes to put his own deniers and liars into places of special interest.

Call me hard of seeing, but, I seem to find nothing relating what the Muslim collegiate community is saying about all of this.

How refreshing and socially uplifting it would be to see a Muslim wearing a cross around his/her neck and walking down academia lane–holding hands with the good Dr. Hawkins, all to prove solidarity and the melding of Muhammad, Confucius, Allah, Jesus, Yahweh, Barney, Big Bird, Sherwin T. Wine, and Moishe Rosen thrown in for good measure. And, why not have everyone wear their rainbow shirts for the full effect.

You know, to protest the murder, rape, pillage and savagery against Christians as of late. You know, those other principalities and powers at work.

All but the Jewish and Christian representatives would have notable mention from the White House. And in such case, don’t expect a visit to the local Temple or Worship Center from the President, proving his sincere love-
No matter what the statistics say.

Yes, apparently you are hard of hearing if you can’t think of a single instance when Muslims have identified with, and protested the murder and rape of their Christian neighbors.

I have personally heard at least two Priests, and read on EWTN that it is a mortal sin to vote for someone that supports abortion. The voters guide on EWTN by Father Taraco, Ph.D. states, “Except in the case in which a voter is faced with all pro-abortion candidates (in which case, as explained in question 8 above, he or she strives to determine which of them would cause the let damage in this regard), a candidate that is pro-abortion disqualifies himself from receiving a Catholic’s vote. This is because being pro-abortion cannot simply be placed alongside the candidate’s other positions on Medicare and unemployment, for example; and this is because abortion is intrinsically evil and cannot be morally justified for any reason or set of circumstances. To vote for such a candidate even with the knowledge that the candidate is pro-abortion is to become an accomplice in the moral evil of abortion. If the voter also knows this, then the voter sins mortally.”

huh, but torturing and murdering is okay … dropping bombs on others is okay … allowing women and children to die in your hospitals is okay, and sexually abusing children is okay while covering it up … nice doctrine of your catholic faith you got there, anthony. keep it … die with it …

your institution is going bye-bye … so, bye-bye

    • opheliart permalink

interesting though, the author is primarily addressing the topic of abortion but there is commenter on there that has made it more about gays. why is that? i sense he misses the greater need of understanding in all of it.

we have to post these two comments (sanders article) just to show you how atheist max resorts to twisting of words … in a manic way to try to serve his point, a point he cannot serve given shawnie’s comment. atheists, is this your front door? back door … any door to your house? if so, you be dead-dead-dead in no time at all. you just can’t keep taking words you do not understand and using them pathetically … nonsensically … violently.

    Shawnie5 February 8, 2016 at 6:32 pm
The “law” in question is an unconstitutional impairment of the rights of free exercise and free speech. And “our God-Connected Preacher” is no more God-connected but every bit as much a free citizen as any of us. Anyone can listen or not, as they please.

As for “conflation of Theology,” Obama himself said it very neatly: “…secularists are wrong when they ask believers to leave their religion at the door before entering into the public square. Frederick Douglas, Abraham Lincoln, Williams Jennings Bryant, Dorothy Day, Martin Luther King – indeed, the majority of great reformers in American history — were not only motivated by faith, but repeatedly used religious language to argue for their cause. So to say that men and women should not inject their “personal morality” into public policy debates is a practical absurdity. Our law is by definition a codification of morality, much of it grounded in the Judeo-Christian tradition.”

theist Max February 8, 2016 at 6:52 pm

“Many saints awakened from death [zombies] and rose out of their tombs. They walked into the city and visited with the people there.” (Matthew 27:52)

I fail to see a moral lesson in a zombie story.
Where is the morality in Jesus?

“Love thy neighbor…they are your people” – This is a verse Jesus cherry picked from Leviticus 19:18 where it is directly connected to
Leviticus 19:20: “RAPING SLAVE GIRLS IS OKAY”….
“If a man has sex with a slave girl whose freedom has never been purchased but who is committed to become another man’s wife, he must pay full compensation to her master. But since she is not a free woman, neither the man nor the woman will be put to death.”

How does any of this improve the morality of a Politician?
    Or anyone else?

    • opheliart permalink

max, I will answer your morality question for shawnie, even though I do not even agree with shawnie in several key areas and she most certainly does not agree with my place in gnosis ( i can tell from her system of belief—her understanding of scripture)

the morality in your comment (and we notice how you repeatedly try to use the old testament to attack the new when it suits you and how you use leviticus when you want to attack something else)… is fostered by a mindset disingenuous. got that, max? you will not see HEAR the language of the Writings because you are a liar and a fraud. why don’t you just admit why you troll the religious sites and save everybody your idiocy? (first time I get to use that wry 😉

go ahead, max … tell shawnie and the rest what you are really doing on rns and elsewhere? because we know you are not an artist/illustrator as you say … if so, you aren’t arting …

      you are a f-ing actor for the I__ __

hmm? how much $ do you make traitor?
