rise and mime

February 6, 2016

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – A prominent and outspoken British member of a papal advisory commission on sexual abuse by the clergy on Saturday refused to step down despite a no-confidence vote, and said only Pope Francis could dismiss him.

A Vatican statement issued earlier said that “it was decided” at a commission meeting that Peter Saunders would take a leave of absence. Saunders, head of Britain’s National Association for People Abused in Childhood, would now “consider how he might best support the commission’s work”, it said.

But Saunders, who as a child was abused by two priests, told a hastily called news conference: “I have not left and I am not leaving my position … the only person who can remove me is the person who appointed me, the pope.”

we cannot allow attacks on bigotry?

who are of discriminatory ways and means, barak? who are the bigots in creed and code?

you are silencing those trying to call out the face of this nation of bigots, barak … you are aiding and assisting the cover ups and the silencing of victims, barak … you are muffling the VOICES trying to speak out against IGNORANCE, barak …

what say you about this?

On Feb. 2, the pope “urged the world not to fear China’s growing power and conveyed a message of friendship to President Xi Jinping.” This meeting with Kirill would not be happening without Putin’s approval. The last time Putin met with the pope was 2 days after the G7 condemned Russian actions in the Ukraine and the pope has distressed Ukrainians with his neutrality on the issue. Pope Francis is playing a dangerous game trying to cement his good relations with these cruel dictatorships. The pope wants to be an important player in geopolitics but is way out of his league.
——————————responding to the rns article on kirill and fran in cuba

pope fran may be out of his league then again didn’t we say he is the vatican’s (RCC/INSTITUTION’s) …

hey, folks …. is this the women’s new black? russian roman islam?

islam, you ask? where did the pope begin his ministry? the muslim brotherhood’s wall where he prayed for roman catholic peace … which is and always will be … C-O-N-troll.

I observed the pope up on a stage (an auditorium of a school) … and he sat down with a group of men dressed in black suits. the room was dark … and there was pope fran wearing his famous white cap and gown

was he graduating on the stage of new policy? that one-world religion under that one world god? a cacophony of ignorance …

Although this is a religion news site, the first 4 on the list may be the most important.

It’s been no secret to a large slice of America that our democracy/republic more closely resembles an oligarchy in the 21st century. That’s the most critical deformation in this country. In terms of ramifications, it dwarfs marriage for all, immigration or any other issue on this list.

Rest assured, if this oligarchy continues and strengthens, your particular flavor of religion will become irrelevant.

regarding that last line in her comment …
if the ‘aristocracy’ strengthens … first of all, WHO/WHAT voted in this agenda? did you pose and praise and pay into and support this oligarkhia? now that bernie sanders and supposedly hilary clinton are crying foul on it, you are calling it oligarchy? 😀

“your particular brand of religion”? david’s brand? the oligarchy’s brand? hypocrisy does rise and mime—no?
that last line is incorrect. the commenter forgets that her old patronage is still an alliance of caliphate predestination. think about it 😉

latest on the UMASS student accused of rape and assault. found guilty. his dad, James, muttered, “Christ,” under his breath from behind, as ____’s mother, Donna, pushed back her hair that covered streaks of tears.

    another story …

UMASS senior falls to death from window (JAMES TILLEY from NH) … police responded to the building just after 2 AM and that tilley was pronounced dead at the scene.

parents send their kids away to college and find these are not the safest environments. I know of women gang-raped, one of them at UMASS on campus! many years ago before speaking out was a reality. honestly, I really feel for the 20-yr old who raped the other student … much as I felt badly for the st paul high school student accused of rape. but this mindlessness has to stop. if drink and drugs are causing an atmosphere of crime and harmful behavior … ban it on campus. it is really very simple … and when the kids start overloading off campus, it’s on the bar owners and homeowners and parents, and when the cities and towns start racking up crimes …

what does this teach you about these places? are these safe places for your children to go to school? to hell with name brand titles, and big institutions … if these are unhealthy places … do not give them your money and please, please, PLEASE do not give them your children.

has obama ever spoken out about the clergy child sex abuse?

has obama ever spoken out about the violence and abuse of young women—women?

everyone can pursue -have the freedom- to do/have what makes them happy? no matter who you are?

hmm …then why aren’t females allowed to be priests/bishops, even popes, and imams, in certain religions IN THE UNITED STATES and … *note: the Native American protection in link

    you are a bullsh***ER, obama … a panderer to religious elites …

and coming to an area near you … and do you really want your house and yard fumigated with pesticides? what is that doing to you, your kids, your pets, your crops, your water, your swimming pools … and the wildlife?

the nations better start getting medical and special needs services in place.

be careful who you kiss? … hmm …

is this what obama is afraid of?

he ‘allowed’ the ferguson rioting … burning, looting with barely a scold …

so … what exactly does he fear?

i stopped at the part where the author of the article states: [of harris] he advocates violence and aggression against them (them being the muslims)

okay, someone show me where this is in sam’s work

    waiting …

    • opheliart permalink

someone might say, you are anti-muslim. that someone needs to wake to the understanding that a dog can bite a child and i might ask that the owner keep the dog contained … and it does not make me anti-dog.

speaking of dogs, why are muslims afraid of dogs? i read where they believe dogs are unclean. so these are denied? maybe that has changed … maybe … but imagine how many innocent dogs are left to die? the unclean are left to die? actually, i would rather not think about it … too sad …

now, the islamist’s view of women, much like the rc heirachy’s view of women says what?

ponder this while sipping your coffee, tea, glass of wine or chugging your beer … and ask who/what has the most influential seats in choosing laws? laws for the households, laws for women’s bodies, laws for children, laws for communities, parishes, some schools, some hospitals, some agencies and some nations … shall we count all of these and see how many are ruled by males …

Sure it’s a license to sin.

It’s a sin not to believe that jesus died for your sins. It’s a sin to believe in other gods besides the Christian one. It’s a sin to blashpeme the Christian god by even thinking that a different religious story is true,.

ALL of those things are sins worthy of damnation. But you don’t have to give a damn what I believe, and vice versa. Religious freedom means we can all believe whatever we want, and the secular law which governs all of us will not punish, harm, or disadvantage me for not believing your strictly theological concerns. And vice versa.

so ben … moslem prayers are okay-dokie on your street?

you see, ben, it’s like this … the religious family ‘thing’ (some might even view it as a kit … like those gingerbread kits you can buy at christmas time)

women get pregnant … as a gay man, you may not be in tune with how this works 😉 but it starts with one then another then another then another and another and …. on and on. remember the catholic church in its HEY day? well, “the church” of rome needs recruits … and, well, islam works for them … just call it the same god and it works for them … (get the picture?) … * people say, but the catholics were shunned when they arrived in america. didn’t seem to hurt their numbers, status … growth, did it? as a matter of fact, it was those large families that infiltrated some neighborhoods. i grew up in a predominantly roman catholic neighborhood and yes, i was looked at little like i was “one of those” … you know … “you’re not catholic? oh … you are a protestant 😦 … said with a look of “I am better than you … I am god’s preferred—-chosen”

soon the neighborhoods change where lawmakers/politicians, liberalists and those who can gain votes and mula from these … the neighborhoods begin singing the praises of the larger majority … and, people not in league with the secularism (of its day) this penetration … move; they move to places that are not so … singularly enthralled. do you understand, ben?

i will be moving to another country … bye-bye ben of oakland … enjoy your moslem prayers.

Saunders said. “I made clear I would never be part of something that was a public relations exercise.” On July 1, 2013, the United Nation’s Committee on the Rights of the Child (CRC) sent a request to the pope for “detailed information on all cases of child sexual abuse” committed by clergy and religious for the past 15 years and set Nov. 1 as a deadline for a reply. Pope Francis responded to the CRC on Dec. 4 by stating that his government would not disclose that information. He was criticized by the media for his response. The next day, the creation of commission with no authority was announced.
“RELATED STORY: Pope Francis moves to hold bishops accountable in sex abuse crisis” No bishop has yet been held accountable. In the US, 2 resigned under public pressure, but a reason was never given. They kept all income and honors due bishops.
