Not an essay

“The god of Islam is not my God.” We have shared this on forums and in SPIR, and have given reasons why.  Now, is the god of Judaism and Christianity the same god as Islam? There are many who believe this …

but what if Abraham is a myth … what if the stories in the old are Spiritually Symbolic and not actual historical accounts of a man, his family, and the generations that followed —within these tribes— what if the reformed claiming Judaism and the reformed, or the “progressives” of Christianity view the stories of the Writings (their  Sacred Texts) as myth …

do these still claim the same God? If so, how so?

Peace and Love

now … with this question in mind, what of gandhi? some might view him as a prophet—a man of great purpose in the movement of the lives of many—is he not in the god story of those of islam, judaism and christianity?

Too little, too late. The cat is out of the bag as the scandals have revealed the flawed theological and historical foundations of Christianity starting with There Was No Easter and never will be.

The sex scandal has not remotely touched the theological or foundational truth of the Catholic Church. That truth is impregnable.
Scandals have besmirched the appearance of the Church over the centuries, but they have always been cleaned up. Sinners dwell within the Church as they do everywhere else in the world, the Church is not Heaven… is the Protector on Earth of the Faith God gave it.

as you can see, there are those outside of all 3 of these religions, believing itself god. so really, since this man dominic and his institution believe itself the PROTECTOR ON EARTH … there is no need of any of the gods of the other 3 … ACCORDING TO THE RCC … ALL YOU NEED IS ROME.

      • opheliart permalink

this is one highly plausible reason why we are of gnosis … do not allow ourselves to be of the insulated in the minds claiming authority on TRUTH … as you can clearly see, through clergy child sex abuse and other very serious acts of ill will and the denial and covering up of these, the corruption, allegiance and partnering with abusive and oppressive and murderous regimes … WE CAN DO WITHOUT THIS TYPE OF PROTECTOR …

there is an interesting and IMPORTANT article today in our local paper—the Daily Hampshire Gazette

I am sure many of you are familiar with the execution of ETHEL AND JULIUS ROSENBERG IN 1953 AFTER BEING CONVICTED IN NEW YORK OF CONSPIRING TO GIVE ATOMIC SECRETS TO THE SOVIETS … well, their son, Robert Meeropol, living in Easthampton, MA, has spoken out, and has provided information worth reading …

do give it some of your time … and VOICE …

    worth a read

we are not pinned to the demographies of these race relations-institutional religious … as life in sectors all over the world is decimated in extremes … has been throughout the history of mankind … and we are not of partiality, however … where there is valid voice (like Robert Meeropol’s and others) we share these as we must. Our CONSCIENCE demands this.

*if you think that the state of Israel is being betrayed … you are not far off, but what you should be aware of … it is not just about those living there … it will be in the lives of every living american

The Vatican city-state, which includes the post office, museums and other activities, saw its surplus surge to 63.5 million euros ($69 million) last year from 33 million euros a year earlier. The Vatican said investments also played a role.

investments? hmm … wonder what kind …

Staffing costs weighed most heavily on the Holy See’s budget, costing 126.6 million for a staff of 2,880 at 64 Holy See entities.

In an apparent blog post written Monday, Abdulazeez said Muslims should not let “the opportunity to submit to Allah… pass you by,” according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors extremist activity on social media.

    (chattanooga shootings)

“submit to allah” submit … a latin word——sub-‘under’ … “send, put” … [present for judgement]
dates from the mid 16th c

so, what appeared to be a perfectly “normal” graduate in engineering with the smiling images turned terrorist —- mass murderer.

does his allah demand murder as judgement? judgement for the muslim or judgement for those he or his are to attack? and who determines who should die? militant muslims readily kill other muslims so this is not just a non muslim thing, except maybe in america since it has been non muslims the attackers go for … and these have been mostly american residents, schooled in america.
one might ask if american schooling and american life is not a good match for indoctrinated muslims, but how do you determine how indoctrinated one is or in what manner unless you know where he/she feeds (including his diet … what he eats and drinks on a regular basis—and any chemicals he might be ingesting or exposed to that would aid in causing erratic behavior)

FOLKS, YOU BETTER GET ON THIS ASAP … and look at ALL the facts … you go to this man’s house you should look for every item of evidence of radical-violent behavior … the feeding grounds

was thinking on some while in the shower this morning … then I read Cathy’s pc at rns … which brought me to comment on what I had been thinking …

like any group, system (no matter how loose or undeveloped this may appear) … there are people navigating differently from others of this same group, and this is where church provides structure, allowing for growth —evolving, and especially, gifting. this church could be a family having to work together to make ends meet, especially in an uncivil society … where there is offensive and brutal bigotry and racism … In this, the female is often in equal partnership with the male … and this provides a necessary and often misinterpreted impetus for healthy growth.

just look at how solid many african american mothers were in their child rearing early in their struggles. one did not see this at the time, but working the fields side by side with the men helped hone this relationship … it was out of necessity, and this helps us in the illustration of the old testament relationship … but as “civilization” changes—its views … and society works many fields and there becomes greater influences, and the female image is shown as something other … we see the breakdown of this relationship … and this is true within any group-culture-system …

    • opheliart permalink

we like to say God does bring good from the wreckage … In this case, the evils of man using the dark-skinned as slaves in those fields … there were people rising up out of these backward ways and demonstrating gifts …

      • opheliart permalink

an atheist might say, well, why didn’t your god keep them from being enslaved? you give him credit for the good but never the evil!

well … maybe because GOD GIVES MAN CHOICE … that man chooses to do bad was his choice, and God cannot without “the help of those willing” move people in a “good” way

you see, atheists and many MANY believers of God do not understand HOW Spirit works. they do not understand “What is God”, or how Spirit operates. it’s like a doctor saying, I can’t operate on this person in his condition … it is too dangerous (we simplify here, but …)

we have said repeatedly, SPIRIT IS FILTERED THROUGH “HUMAN” HANDS

we don’t post “sacred writings” other than where we engage (for the most part) … where we engage we call the Writings—Holy Scripture—God’s Word (some Gnostic Literature and what Christians understand as the Old and New Testaments), but we are going to post a list of questionable muslim sacred writings, and we ask how these call attention to the muslim, and those deemed evil according to islamic faith and belief:

    The Qur’an:
Qur’an (5:51) – “O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people.”

Qur’an (5:80) – “You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide.” Those Muslims who befriend unbelievers will abide in hell.

Qur’an (3:28) – “Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them…”

Qur’an (3:118) – “O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people, they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if you will understand.”

Qur’an (9:23) – “O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers”

Qur’an (53:29) – “Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world.”

Qur’an (3:85) – “And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers.”

Qur’an (3:10) – “(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire.” Those who do not believe in Muhammad are but fuel for the fire of Hell (also 66:6, 2:24. 21:98).

Qur’an (7:44) – “The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: “We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord’s promises true?” They shall say, “Yes”; but a crier shall proclaim between them: “The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers” Muslims in heaven will amuse themselves by looking down on non-Muslims in Hell and mocking them while they are being tortured (see 22:19-22.

Qur’an (1:5-7) – “Show us the straight path, The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray”

now, I am gnostic … so, I do not know exactly how I would be viewed by the muslim’s allah. my name is not in their scared writings … oops, I mean … sacred writings … but I expect that the believers of islam would consider me a loser, but they could not prove in an impartial manner that I am unjust. if I went before their tribunal for what they view as unjust, they could not charge me impartially … because their law teaches that there is no good but their own belief system. of course we see their beliefs plied daily in countries where there is only one mindset as governing law. there are likely many kind people living in these countries that move to this beat without a whole lot of thought … it just is, and many move to places like america and what do they see? young people angry at what they see might find those sacred verses on islam righteousness or rightness, and be ignited to act violently against what they perceive as unjust or evil …
but we also need to understand what is being preached in the mosques … no differently from the Jew or the Christian in their worship centers … but this isn’t happening is it …
we can’t even get the child rapists in these centers investigated … there is something in the way, something thwarting these efforts … what is it?

    cont …

    • opheliart permalink

you see, we don’t have a problem with examining the writings … and we are more than aware of parts designed to suit agenda—parts that read off, and not in the vein of truth as we understand truth. my own personal experience is why I believe in Spirit … there is nothing in any of the writings that will convince me otherwise 🙂 and nothing any person can say that could get me to not believe … there are angels both good and evil … if man were to step into my being, even for a moment … he would realize that there is something more than mankind … so, I have no fear of the words of these prophets and so called prophets being examined … and I don’t need doctrine or church teachings within these denominations and systems of belief to believe in Spirit—to experience Spirit and to grow in Spirit
and don’t think I have not been challenged on this … this is all part of the instruction—in maturing.

Wake Up Call July 17, 2015 at 12:30 pm
On the 4th of July, just north of Chattanooga, my brother passed a truck on the road which had a big black flag flying in the wind that read “Isis, Surrender or Die”. They are here folks. Flying a flag like that should automatically get you arrested and turned over to the FBI or deported. Not so in this “America” where political correctness rules. Anyway, they’re too busy looking for Confederate flags around here so they can harass those folks.

we know there are cells everywhere … now flags? … no surprise, these groups are free to express their religion in the united states

Warriors who die fighting in the cause of God are ushered immediately to God’s presence (Surah 2:159 and Surah 3:169); and
“Enemies of Islam” are sentenced immediately to Hell upon death.

ah, the old warrior trick … allah loves his warriors so much he sends them to die fighting for his causes … and these get whisked into allah’s presence and … and the enemies of islam … ISLAM (and note that no where in the parables and Spiritual Symbolism of The Christ do we read christianity or judaism or roman catholicism or orthodoxy or mormonism or …) … are sentenced to hell upon death.

well, we can easily see why the muslims might not want to befriend those not muslim—or those not of this system of belief 😦

I know of “christians” who believe they will be exactly as they are … minus those things that ail them … when they enter heaven and they are absolutely convinced that is where they are going …

heaven and hell in gnosis is … light and darkness … remember the eye? (matthew 6.23) what comes after the flesh depends on where you live in the flesh, and where you move. you are either becoming in the LIGHT, or ruminating in darkness… and the body does not stay as man thinks … and visions and dreams are of the mind and are entirely symbolic (part of THE LANGUAGE that very few understand). Once you pass the flesh life … you are either working in the Spirit as nothing is lost or still
—- darkness is of the mind of man (without body) as this was where you chose to remain. Spirit has no use for a man’s body/features once he passes from this life on Earth. his soul is or it isn’t … and those in darkness remain in darkness … and no one as of this day really knows what this is like, but there has been a little understanding coming forth on this … and is why we can adamantly say—ah, no purgatory as some believe …

when it comes out … what we have just shared … the religionists like the roman catholic church and others are going to look like a box of cigarettes … so many thought these wonderful at one time until they learned of the dangers …

      note: where it says:

25And he left for Tarsus to look for Saul; 26and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And for an entire year they met with the church and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. 27Now at this time some prophets came down from Jerusalem to Antioch.…

there is no mention of christianity … also, it sounds as if it was those outside the assembly of this church that labeled them christians … and take note that antioch is known as “the first city of the east”

“there is this tension between — what as Christians we believe God has called us to do and what it appears to be…what the culture seems to be doing.”

Well, there’s your first problem. You’re not the only Christians, are you? There are plenty of Christians who disagree with you, not despite what their bibles say, but because of it.

Here’s your second problem. Illegitimacy rates among black people are around 70%– multiple men fathering multiple children on multiple women. It’s 40% for the rest of the population. A young black man is far more likely to go to prison than he is to college, making his prospects for supporting his family even dimmer.

here’s your third problem. Those lunch counters your forefathers couldn’t sit at were run by small businesspeople. The citations made for justifying slavery and segregation were made from the bible.

OPEN YOUR EYES. Or at least get the beams out of them.
