The Believer’s Bane (part 1)

May 26, 2015

But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

Let’s add the Orthodox Study Bible Version:

But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.

If we look at verse 12 and read through, we hear … since we have such hope—we have great boldness of speech … unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away. But their minds were blinded …

What fights with prosperity? First would be the question on what this is: Prosperity where? How? Prosperity of Spirit is the condition of what? The mind, the heart … and how these engage through strengthening within Faith … to imitate what {this} believes—experiences. Since God is not a “neutral” substance in that {it is} characterized by where and how it moves … Spirit finds its place where? Where there is movement, naturally. It cannot engage in the negate place (or parenting). It is not made in this place, but formed and fueled—feasted—where it is striving in unity of One. If believers and nonbelievers can understand the reality of Spirit in its operation, they will begin to see its Countenance as manifest. If they can begin to understand a Supreme Substance creating {itself} through a prosperous place … they will experience what is God.

A few passages on prosperity:
Philippians 4:19 – But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Jeremiah 29:11 – For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Malachi 3:10 – Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that [there shall] not [be room] enough [to receive it].

3 John 1:2 – Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.

In Philippians, it says … “according to … his riches in glory … by (through) Christ Jesus.” At one point, many moons ago, we shared that there is a difference in Christ Jesus and Jesus Christ. Let’s return to a passage we have shared many times: I am the way, the truth and the life (light), no one comes to the Father but through me. This passage could read:

Christ is the way … God is Truth … Jesus is unto Father through Him.

{Him} is He-She-It (unity of the Spirit). It isThis is Truth on the Word (Supreme Being, Father of All and …)

OR we could say: Anointed (of the Way) unto Truth (God) through Light. Light {being} the active “Prophet”, understood as PROPHESY through the hearing of {this}. Where Christ Jesus and Jesus Christ differ is in its use—where and how it is made. If you understand this while engaging in the Writing, you begin to realize a Character in Truth. This “character” is … and  finds substance within its Name.

Paul says …

But we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

followed with  … But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them. For we do not preach ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord, and ourselves your bondservants for Jesus’ sake. For it is the God who commanded light to shine out of darkness, who has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Notice where it says “but Christ Jesus the Lord” … and … “in the face of Jesus Christ.” Paul establishes the command. He is not preaching his words but Christ Jesus the Lord, meaning Truth, but in the face of Jesus Christ … in the face of Prophet (Spirit saves). The Names are active parts of a greater whole. If you understand what this is teaching, you can see where man missteps in his words and actions—those things dishonest. Now, where it says “but even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe” … this is not necessarily referring to nonbelievers as so many believers think. We have shared that nonbelief does not devalue Humanity. What devalues Humanity is militancy, a form of dishonesty and … this comes in various forms (war, poverty, malnutrition, deception, cruelty, lethargy, ignorance …). “the god of this age” is telling man his partnering. Religion? the god of Doctrine? Politics? also Doctrine? the god of cultish practices that demean and destroy human life?

If Doctrine advocates murder of a woman because she is with child and cannot conceive child is she in error—dishonest? She has little control over what is causing the complications for the birth of her child in the moment of labor. Through the practice of medicine, abortion becomes a what? In these dire situations … a lifesaver for the woman struggling and child unable to come forth in a natural way. In this instance, a life can be saved. Why would man advocate Doctrine over life? This woman is not a piece of legislation; [she is of some form of spirit], and neither Religion nor Politics has knowledge on “the child” in its life, beyond life, or what {its} spirit contains, or even where it goes once it decreases. Who has knowledge on the PURPOSE of the spirit of the unborn child? Could there be a reason the child decreases? Would man know? How could he know? His mind is veiled on these, therefore, his main job is to save lives if he is a doctor of a reputable and honest hospital. In her state, mother has little to no choice in what happens. She is vulnerable and she is in need. Who in a RIGHT mind does nothing to save her life? Those using Doctrine as infallible, and calling this of God, are dishonest, and will be held responsible for what is unmistakably a crime under common law and proper ethics. Anyone who cannot see the lethargy of the mind in this is of a darkened state. He is blind.

Has Doctrine blinded him? Politics? Traditions? Culture or cultish practices? If man breeds within a mindset of this state, how can he be trusted on the Word—God’s Word? The honest truth? He would never be permitted {this} because he has not loved his neighbor as himself. He has not asked if he would be willing to die  … and has no understanding for her life and the life of her family. Has he no Conscience in allowing her to die when he had the ability to save her? He should be ashamed of his ignorance. This would be the same for hiding the abuses of children. Who in a right mind hides the crimes of raping children? Who allows these practices to continue? Even worse … who canonizes and calls these men “holy father” knowing these men promoted and excused the illicit and dangerous acts of their staff? Do these men and women enter God’s Kingdom? They have not shown themselves worthy in the hour of what? No one knows the day or the hour … Hmm …  And let it be known that there are men parading as keepers of the Faith who are dishonest in their “reforms” … the truth about these will be coming forth, and man will find himself even more disillusioned with the carriages of those claiming knowledge.

The following are a few examples of severe carelessness and minds bathing in pools of darkness, and please understand how these came to be of this sentencing.

Keep close eyes on the agendas that men seek … and for what means they indulge. Many promote for self-acclaim … under the guise of something regal. Those of the immersion of worldly pleasures and desire for reform are usually contained in vessels of stale ale. It is better to remove the offense … rather than attempt to whitewash … Let your yes be yes and your no be no. *Do not concede to something dishonest to overpower your opponent.

As for the pregnant women, hopefully in the United States we can agree on proper ethics, decency and common compassion of what is acceptable practice and what is just plain dumb—dangerously dumb, and hopefully people working in these fields can educate. If hospitals (medical officers) anywhere continue to advise poorly in these strained cases where the mother’s life is in danger, they will be investigated and charged with murder. This is coming. No doubts on this.

The condition of the mother was just one example of where and how System of Belief is a negate place of understanding. Faith is not delusional. It harbors the ability to reach, and read beyond the compartments of man … if not inscribed on biases. And if a nonbeliever desires only to denounce the believer, or even the Religionists, then he is nothing more than the Religionist as his claims pattern in the same quell … no matter how intelligent. And remember, intelligence is no substitute for love. It does not guarantee anything in the order of ethics and fair and just means for those denied. As instruments in Society, nonbelievers have a part in the wellness of mankind, too … but if anyone refuses just means, including the mercy necessary to show oneself against the raunchy and undermining tempests of hate and destruction of life … he pokes the eyes that show him his own derelict state. There are levels or planes of reprieve.

Man does not see what he does not see. He does not hear what he does not hear. Tomorrow he may know a little more than he did today … should he be of an openness for {this}.

If man understood the PARADOX ON LOVE in the Christ Way, he would know that life cannot “find” its kindness in the poor (poor in Spirit). If he seeks the Supreme for the malady of man, he hears the statutes of the Divine. In the Godhood, there is no statute of limitation … as God’s time is not man’s. It belongs to God. If man uses child to establish his credentials and boost his Regime in ways that negate  … he will be found guilty and charged according to his means—what he prescribed for others. He may find quite soon that his laws cost him …

I am sure this is a bit creepy for a man to be mooning over a 10-yr-old … but it goes to show how people live differently, but it has to stop. The child-bride ogling and preparations of 8-10-13 year-old girls has got to stop! Imagine the lives of these poor girls!

When you think about it … Jesus and women in the stories of the NT … Jesus, as Prophet, is their SAVIOR! Come on! Were men of any of the sects political and religious accepting women, educating them in areas of thought that moved beyond the patriarchal dominion? But what did man do with the Teachings … and the women? Used, abused … BETRAYED HER … LIED TO HER?

Well Larry, without the Church Ireland would be some back water island full of pagan Druids enslaving people at will. The Church brought Ireland morality, justice, and peace. As usual, the Left wants the Church to either change into a pagan institution, or hit the road. Now that is the pinnacle of “tolerance.”

      Larry May 26, 2015 at 12:37 pm
How would you know? The Church had those people all killed off or forcibly converted before the 11th century.

So now you have Christians enslaving people at will. Like those women who were forced into slave labor at various convents. IN THE 20TH CENTURY!!
      http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/feb/19/ireland-apologises-slave-labour-magdalene-laundries

Like all apologists, you minimize horrific acts when done on behalf of your faith.

The church’s place in the modern Irish state was an anachronism. One that undermined democratic principles and civil liberties.

I want the church out of the Irish government. Because I appreciate civil liberties and democracy. I do not look for a theocratic state. A democratic government stands best when there is separation of church and state. Their entanglement attacks the authority and integrity of both.

Read through the comments and found some naughty stuff …

But the God-haters and those who hate believers in God or Religion ruin the discussion every time. They don’t know anything on the Writings, and have no EXPERIENCE in these areas … in a way that they can share rationally and informatively, or share in a way that is intelligent … calling out the hypocrisy is of importance … stating fact where there is evidence of illicit acts is important, even having opinions and beliefs that run contrary to those of Religion is fine, acceptable and often of value … as we read these with keen interest … but to insult and degrade something they DO NOT UNDERSTAND, AND HAVE ABSOULUTELY NO EXPERIENCE IN … is ridiculous. It’s ignorance—truly, it is.

I look forward to the day when these offenders are agape 🙂

(RNS) When asked to describe the essence of the Christian message, Mother Teresa would often hold up a child’s hand and recite Jesus’ words in Matthew 25:40: “Whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” She would then jiggle the child’s fingers one by one and repeat: “You. Did. It. To. Me.”

“You did it to me,” say the children to the nun who burned those same hands MT jiggled … hmm … interesting that “fingers” should become a starter for an article on “the poor.” Hands-fingers-hands-fingers … The hand in HOLY Scripture represents Light … the fingers represent partnering. Now, what would this mean in Light of this story?

Isaiah 59:1 – Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

The story of the Samaritan Woman at the Well had five “husbands” and one not a husband: the four fingers and one thumb.

“The Church must take account of this reality, but in the sense of reinforcing its commitment to evangelization,” he said.

The comments by the Italian-born cardinal, a veteran Vatican diplomat, underlined the shock created by the landslide vote in traditionally Catholic Ireland to allow homosexuals to marry.

After the vote, Dublin Archbishop Diarmuid Martin told Ireland’s RTE radio that “the Church needs to do a reality check.”

Pope Francis has struck a more sympathetic tone towards homosexuals than many conservative Catholics, famously commenting soon after taking office: “If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge him?”.

But the Argentine-born pontiff has shown no sign of easing his firm disapproval of gay marriage or shifting Church doctrine that homosexual acts are intrinsically sinful even if homosexuality itself is not.

      *****************
THE WORLD, which includes the US … cannot deny any longer where the Vatican stands on issues. They cannot pretend any longer that Pop-up Fran has not been used to promote the RCC without actually removing the dust mites. the obsession toward power-monguering …

If you read the article, you cannot help but get the sense that the RCC sees itself as THE HUMANITY of something holy … as if it holds the keys to Christ. Nope, it is a failing dynasty of ignorant parts trying to sound credible in a moving planet. IT DOES NOT OWN US … and one might ask if it understands anything on HUMANITY.

      • opheliart permalink

but what is insanely hypocritical is the obvious: the RC clergy is brimming over with gays, many of them sexually active. duh … seriously folks, and these blink heads don’t think we can’t see their pants down on this? They are exposed as liars and deceivers. If you have a problem with gay activity, guys, clean up your own house before you claim knowledge on HUMANITY!!!

BECAUSE THEY ARE FEMALES … imagine that! being attacked everywhere in the world because you are a female? it’s not called anti-semitism, or persecution for any religious race or religion; it is because she has a vagina! my-my … WILL DRUGS STOP THE WAR, secularists? how about your psychologists? will they stop the raping and sex trafficking of minors? mostly women, although I understand that there are peace keepers that like to rape little boys in exchange for food … you gonna round up these diseased men and save the starving?

Re: “You are both ignorant of practices followed in recent decades and deeply malicious.”

It’s not “ignorant” to point out that the R.C. Church’s track record here is abysmal. It’s been demonstrated they shuffled clergy around in order to avoid having to get rid of them or letting them go to prison (http://skepdic.com/priestshuffling.html). As for the bishops having supposedly “changed their ways,” in truth, they did not; the Cloyne Report shows they were still protecting abusive priests as recently as 2009 (http://www.nytimes.com/2011/07/14/world/europe/14church.html?pagewanted=all).

The Church, in fact, has dodged and swerved all over the place in order to avoid admitting fault. They’ve offered a litany of asinine, juvenile excuses over the years (http://www.agnostic-library.com/ma/roman-catholicisms-excuse-making-a-review/). The bishops have shown themselves to have all the ethics of Mafiosi … minus the hitmen, which isn’t really saying a lot.

the agnostic pc with the list is a jaw-dropper 😦

No, there isn’t any “atheist vote.”

“Religiously unaffiliated” and “non-believer” are not interchangeable terms. I thought it had already been demonstrated that most of the “Nones” are wary of identifying with a particular religious denomination but still believe in religious crap (or don’t know what they believe or disbelieve because they’re so “open-minded”).

The “nones” are, in my experience, friendly to religion and at least as hostile to atheism and secularism as the religious are. If anything, they obsess over the sins (real and imagined) of “movement atheism” far more than religious people do. They are also not, from what I have seen, enthusiastic about church/state separation. They are either apathetic on that issue or see it as a manifestation of “white privilege,” “colonialism,” etc.

“Religiously unaffiliated” and “non-believer” are not interchangeable terms.
Yes, from my experience, these are like two different species of person. The rest—interesting view. My sense is that the Religiously unaffiliated may very well be of a “white-priviledged” sect, or of the membrane of this. Non believer is a unique type, and we see the nonbeliever coming into places where we train (exercise): gnosis.

        PEACE
