The Undetermined Fear

July 18, 2014

I read a comment from someone posting to an article about woman bishops, and saw immediately that there needs to be a clearer picture on what Paul wrote in Scripture. The poster shared that it wasn’t that Jesus did not choose women apostles, but that Paul wrote in Timothy that women were not to become priests and elders. Another comment states that Jesus chose only 12 male apostles and from this the Apostolic Church was formed. I do not care to enter into the topic of women priests or women bishops in set denominations because, if the catechism hasn’t changed in the institutional sector, the head of the house is still the head of the house no matter who dons the frock and stands in at the pulpit. The catechisms are primarily patriarchal, as is the Christian view on Scripture, but what is of an even greater sorrow is that religion justifies itself by its own treaties, and these quite often have little or no relevance to the Spirit.

I posted the following article a couple of times in SPIR. I’d like to address one small part in what Kilpatrick shared. He was primarily showing the differences between the Roman Catholic Faith and the Muslim Faith. I pulled one difference to highlight: marriage.

There are similar problems with Cardinal Dolan’s other assertions, such as, “Your love of marriage and the family.” Yes, Muslims can generally be counted on to love their families. But in many respects, the Catholic and Muslim views of marriage and family are worlds apart. To Catholics, marriage is a sacrament; to Muslims, it is a contract. Moreover, it is primarily a contract about sex and money. In fact, the Arabic language uses the same word, nikah, for both marriage and sexual intercourse. In Islam, marriage is an institution ordained to meet the sexual needs of men. Thus, a Muslim man can have two, three, or four wives at a time and as many different families. And four is not really an absolute limit because if a Muslim man gets tired of one of his wives, he need only say “I divorce you” three times and he is free to marry another. Although many Muslim men rise above their religion and stay faithful to one wife, the knowledge that one can be easily replaced creates an undercurrent of insecurity and instability that, in turn, leads to widespread family dysfunction in the Muslim world. In fact, a number of scholars contend that Islamic violence is in large part the result of Islamic family dynamics.

Based on all that Kilpatrick shares, yes, there are significant differences in the two marriages, but there is one area that stands out in this, and that is MARRIAGE AS A CONTRACT. First, I do not think that too many married Christians would say that they did not enter into some form of a contract with their spouse. In American society, it is a contract, whether you call yourself religious or not, and I am sometimes amused (if not for the angry verbose), that those claiming Christ as their committed faith have not seen the worldly channels in this. Jesus makes distinctions here, and these are quite clear, but religious man cannot see the parallel, and so, he continues to stumble in showing himself credible on Truth. Now, in the Roman Catholic Church, there are additional requirements that can be looked at as contractual: Baptism, Confirmation, Communion, Abstinence, Parish Attendance, Communion restrictions in the event of a Divorce … to list a few. These are all bylaws designed by the organization/institution offering marriage to members. My Faith does not view a SACRAMENT in this manner. A Sacrament is between one and God, and no other, however, others can share within a Sacrament. Communion (or Communing) is a Sacrament in my Faith, but it does not require anything but Spirit and the one communing, as this IS the epitome of Spiritual Relationship and Spiritual Marriage. WE are engaged in marriage to the Christ in the agreement on WHAT IS GOD (Do not swear [oaths], let your yes be yes and your no be no). This is to place the Spirit as “Bride” and all else consummates within this Relationship. In the Realm of the Spirit, where God and man collide, humanity abides, but with a fervor undetermined. I think the Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox view the Christ as “Groom” but as I have shared extensively in SPIR, it is the ESSENCE that is the fixed “ordination” for coming TO THE FATHER (will get into this later), and when the men of the priesthood think about this, and realize what and how this “engaging in” with Spirit is accommodated, they will realize how it all comes together and makes sense.

I understand the feelings of necessity the organizers of set “church” had to mimic and translate the texts. It happened. It experienced change through the centuries, however, much was lost in Love. What John speaks of in Revelation, Chapter 2, is what I am referring. I shared on the Seven Churches in earlier essays. What I will add is this:

1. Time (Earth Symbology)

2. Reason (Host Symbology)

3. Life (Eve Symbology)

4. Beloved of His (Miriam Symbology)

5. Marriage of Beloved (Mary Symbology)

6. Wisdom (Sophia-She Symbology)

7. Light (Photini Symbology, also Understood as Woman at the Well in John 4)

If you look at the first two, you begin to see evidence of the existence of THE SPIRIT REALM before Eve (breath in the flesh of man). Even before mankind became himself man, Spirits moved and corresponded. The writers of the Genesis “contract”changed the original. John gives us the Place and the Purpose despite this change. There is an EIGHTH which is not SISTER but TRUTH, and this IS THE CHURCH MANIFEST (active … as the Spirit is never stagnant but ever-flowing—continuous). This is what we of the FAITH believe and begin in RESTORATION WITHIN REASON. Why Reason? Because we are in THE RETURN. Church unites with Reason then Time IS. It is. This is where the Law of the Prophets speak on Truth:

Ezekiel 43:2    and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.

Isaiah 6.3   And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.

Malachi 3.12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.

the passages are endless …

In CLIMATE OF THE MESSIAH, essay from a while ago, I shared in some of Paul’s handiwork.

But when I saw that they walked not uprightly according to the truth of the gospel, I said unto Peter before them all, If thou, being a Jew, livest after the manner of Gentiles, and not as do the Jews, why compellest thou the Gentiles to live as do the Jews? Galatians 2.14

This is a profound question that Paul presents to Peter. But before I discourse in this, I would like to address passages in Chapter Four.

But then, indeed, when you did not know God, you served those which by nature are not gods. But now after you have known God, or rather are known by God, how is it that you turn again to the weak and beggarly elements, to which you desire again to be in bondage? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I am afraid for you, lest I have labored in vain. (12) Brethren, I urge you to become like me, for I became like you. You have not injured me at all. (13) You know that because of physical infirmity I preached the gospel to you at the first. And my trial which was my flesh you did not despise or reject, but you received me as an angel of God, even as Christ Jesus. What then was the blessing you enjoyed? For I bear you witness that, if possible, you would have plucked out your eyes and given them to me. Have I therefore become your enemy because I tell you the truth?

I love that Paul is full of questions to these, and I love that Peter was used to demonstrate a teaching. Yes, the called and the chosen are used to demonstrate Truth on the Word. And what many do not understand in [Paul’s] words here, is that we are hearing the voice of Angel (God’s Messenger), what is Spirit. That he tells these that they would have plucked out their eyes and given them to him is a teaching on the mind verses the heart. Paul is Prophet. Prophets are transient. They remain. These are a what, not a who, and they know they are alien to the the world of man. These are not Seers. Seers see within the mind, and are often aligned with doctrine within the service of religious. They are not generally seen as free born. This does not mean they are without Gift, or without purpose, but they are confined to the dictates of their Head, unless, of course, they are used to initiate Spiritual Growth. In this case, they are of a heartmind on Spiritual Relevance of God.

In looking at the words in Chapter 2, verse 14, we are being questioned on our “hearing”, and the manner in which we follow and demonstrate Truth. And Truth in this passage can be understood in this: see that you are ferried by focusing on the grasping rather than grasping for the focus. If you smell victory but reject the hand that feeds, you may fall. And yet, we err sometimes in order to understand what is necessary for the Work. And then there are those not erring but are used to see and understand the pitfalls. These would be the ones chosen to speak on Truth, for these have been cast to teach, having gone down into the depths of the sea, or having been trapped in the belly of the whale, and spewed out, and know what rules therein. The Prophets of Truth must dive deep and swim, and be shown what is ahead, but not all are of this Placement. The Prophet’s work is to share what trials await, what currents snag and redirect. Crossing the water need not be so full of fear, doubt, tempest and turmoil if your reach is systematically true. Peter experienced fear while walking on that sea, and Lord put out his hand. Focus in the grasp, and not on the focus. Know what it is to be renewing rather than insisting that you are right and others are wrong. I have said to some claiming absolution from the start through judging others not within their reach: You made it to the first rest stop, and there you remain. You pitched your tent, and those desiring passage, you deny them the Way.

Holy Truth says And no man pours new wine into old wineskins (Mark 2.22). But can you take some of the old and put it with the new? Would this not be the manner of the yeast in the making of new bread? The dough should not be without Starter, but it is necessary to take out some in order to create the new. And so it is with the Evolution of God and man in Prophesy. Reread the words written by Paul. Ask yourselves then: Have I become ensnared by legalism to the point of no return?

Also from that essay:

Re: Seven Churches of Revelation.

The churches are titles. Lord was one to give names like Paul for Saul and Matthew for Levi, so each church is given a title. Many assume these churches are religious titles like the Orthodox Church and the Roman Catholic Church, but this is not the case, nor are these churches stages within a believer’s journey. The titles are representing the human condition within the fight on Love. Remember, there is a canopy on Love, and this is called–understood as Truth. So, one called is within this fight. Those who understand what is the world, understand why one is called, and why there is a fight on Love. These would be the chastised and the made ready, but these are also the persecuted, the weak, the penetrated, the co-joined and partner to Life.”

A priest emailed me regarding this part: nor are these churches stages within a believer’s journey. He vehemently disagreed in this by telling me I am wrong. I will share here not that he is wrong but that I am not. Before we dip into this and why he and I hear differently, I would like to point out something critical to its understanding. The Book of Revelation is just that–Revelation. So, in the context of this, we need to look at the purpose of the writing, which has everything to do with outcome. This is a greater scheme or scope on the “history” of what is. It’s saying: Behold, I provide for you tithes of news–new news!

“Ephesus: Angels, Smyrna: Saints, Pergamos: Apostles, Thyatira: Human-kind, Sardis: Martyrs, Philadelphia: Prophets, and Laodicea: Religious

Within these titles rise Spirit Gifts (the soul’s positioning). The seven candles represent the Gifts of the Spirit, and each Angel “houses” a Gift for each title. Angels align with Faith. Saints align with Works. Apostles align with Ministering. Human-kind align with Service. Martyrs align with Servitude. Prophets align with Love. Religious align with Fellowship. None of these are called by Man.”

Now, the Book of Revelation is Johanian Voice, and would require one of Johanian hearing to understand the fuller message inherent. If the priest who wrote that I am wrong has been been born and raised in something other than Johanian Prophesy, then I can see where he might not hear my referencing. We reside in two different planes of Understanding. It says in Revelation 17. 9-11 … Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. The seven mountains are the seven churches. There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come. Right here we see the five husbands in John 4 (Samaritan Woman at the well). One is refers to that canopy on Love … and the other has not yet come is the partner within this Placement. The kings are not the angels of these churches. The hope is that the king will unite with angel, and clarify the Place. What are the kings of Sardis and Thyatira and Laodicea? Martyr, Human-kind and Religious. What has not yet come? A pertinent question, for sure.

When I share here in SPIR, I speak to those being called for this Vision. It is not the place for priests and pastors of set religions to tell those not of religion, or an orthodox spiritual such as myself, that we are wrong because we hear and work within a frame not aligned with their doctrinal mandates, and how those within their council experience. We can move to Sacrament of Reason and share on Truth, and yes, we may find fatalistic dogma ruling the masses in a legalistic and dangerous way, but can we tell these “you are wrong” if we are not of this same system? We are called to discourse and demonstrate, and we can share what might affect the nations, which are of varying systems, and remind them that God reigns … man rules … but to behave as if one religion, or one man, at any point in the history of the Word of God has full Knowledge of the Work of the Spirit can be a stagnant place of understanding.

Every BEING is paired to “something” of Spirit/spirit, and these are partnered and recipients of Spirit/spirit. For instance, if gluttony (evil) is paired with someone who builds his house on sand, its recipients are all those things contained within this house/title, including all those who share in this.

In Acts, Peter shares his vision of the sheet with 4 corners. These four corners are North, West, South and East paralleling North, East, South and West. This imagery contains a BOOK—a book open. Now, close it. What do you see?

Allow me to fold that SYMBOLIC GARMENT.

1. Time (Earth Symbology)—8. THE CHURCH MANIFEST … which is also UNDERSTOOD AS PROPHESY: Evolution of God and Man

2. Reason (Host Symbology)—7. Light (Photini Symbology, also Understood as Woman at the Well in John 4)

3. Life (Eve Symbology)—6. Wisdom (Sophia Symbology)

4. Beloved of His (Miriam Symbology)—5. Marriage of Beloved (Mary Symbology)

Again, in Revelation 17. 9-11 … Here is the mind which has wisdom: The seven heads are seven mountains on which the woman sits. The seven mountains are the seven churches. There are also seven kings. Five have fallen, one is, and the other has not yet come.

The woman represents the Prophet carrying Wisdom within the Sacrament of Reason (now you see why I spoke of Reason as a Sacrament in earlier essays). Why is she called the great harlot? Hosea 1.2 says … The beginning of the word of the LORD by Hosea. And the LORD said to Hosea, Go, take unto you a wife of harlotry and children of harlotry: for the land has committed great harlotry, departing from the LORD. Hosea was to marry into that of the secular/religious in order to do the will of the Lord. This has to do with God Purpose. That he married a harlot is not the teaching; the teaching in this command is that he partnered with that of mankind, as Hosea was not of man (sound familiar?) Hosea was of God. This was/is a necessary practice for one who prophesies on Truth, as this process guilds the plying. Make ready… prepare yourselves … pick up your mat and walk … take up the cross and follow … tell the people to get moving!

The seven kings are understood as: Angels, Saints, Apostles, Human-kind, Martyrs, Prophets, Religious. The five fallen: 2,3,4,5,1. The one that has not yet come is the Church Manifest. Where Jesus says, And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it … He is referring to PEACE. Church is Christ’s Peace. I have shared in SPIR that one must first know LOVE before he can enter PEACE. Jesus said: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. Why? Because he stands between the Ruler and the Judge. The sword is the call to act … to take up the cross…

A pertinent question might be: Are you the paralytic waiting your turn, but have you missed this call?

2 Timothy (honouring God) 2, beginning with 3 speaks of strength and endurance in: SOLDIER, ATHLETE, WARRIOR.

No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life … and also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules … the hardworking farmer must first partake of the crops. Paul speaks of the elect in these passages. These are the chosen of God. He is speaking to those having been called, those having heard this call, and those entering into a partnering within SPIRIT. Spirit is the Angelic Realm of God. Now, getting back to the comment about Paul saying women are not to be priests/elders …

1 Timothy 2 deals with communion—prayer. FOR THERE IS ONE GOD AND ONE MEDIATOR (note: and one Mediator which means partner, understood in the Spirit as Angel or Angel-kind, and THIS CAN BE MALE OR FEMALE) between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus …

11Let a woman learn in silence with all submission. And I do not permit a woman to teach or to have authority over a man, but to be in silence. For Adam was formed first, then Eve. And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. Nevertheless she will be saved in childbearing if they continue in faith, love and holiness, with self-control.

She will be saved in childbearing … A natural question would be: what of the women who never bear children? This makes God a partial God, and it states in James that partiality is a sin. These are the questions that anyone interested in Spiritual Knowledge must ask. In this discerning practice, Spiritual Understanding comes forth. So, what is Paul teaching in the silence of women? Eve was made from the rib of Adam according to the story in Genesis. If we go by this, the rib is the skeletal body of the man. If Adam means “to be red” as I see its meaning, he is of “the glory of God.” I have shared in SPIR that man is earth, and woman is sea. Adam is of the fire of the earth, and woman the framework of this. She is the water that contains this fire, so that it does not become out of control, which unfortunately, it has. Her silence in Paul’s teaching symbolizes restraint in the use of this fire. She can douse it easily enough, or allow it to burn down a newly planted forest. In this Understanding, she keeps her Gift(s) silent. It is through her gift of bearing the child, which is symbolic of the Light—the Life—in the Work, which is also the Essence of the Spirituality of Christ, where she will be saved, and THIS BECOMES THROUGH FAITH.

Eve’s transgression is having crossed over into Truth before Adam had ignited. His fire has not yet been set. She must remain silent until the Prophet’s cry comes:

and I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. His voice was like the roar of rushing waters, and the land was radiant with his glory.

I realize what I shared will not be understood by most, even those of a set religion who may find the Adam and Eve story of the bible weak, or the idea of ordaining women a no-brainer because they feel it is discriminating to not permit this same vocation to the female, and they would be correct in thinking this. It is discrimination, and in a society where the  ills of prejudice and discrimination are constantly played out in the arts, entertainment, politics and the media, it appears odd to have it so pronounced in the denominations where man will not permit the ordination of women. The governments should not be assisting organizations where this is a practice, because it would appear partial. This is a no-brainer. But aside from all of that … there is a very real GIFT which takes one to a PLACE OF UNDERSTANDING, and continues to draw one near—nearer to God—but one will not arrive at this PLACE if he does not act—if he does not take up that cross, or pick up the mat.

You see, the cross is more than one’s own dilemma. It is a continuance of Life … a stream of fresh running water … a thread of the finest silver. The connectedness is how one moves mountains. God’s Messengers are real. These do pair and unite with what may appear to be your average person, for it is through HUMAN hands that the Spirit is filtered, but these hands must be willing. This is also true for the devil’s own. You wonder how a man you call Father can molest children after years of serving in parishes? The enemy is a disease, and it can be an infectious disease which spreads quickly. If the conditions are ripe within, and where the place is a place of partiality and where untruths abide … whether misinformation and malpractice flourish …

Listen up … I read where Orthodox state that each person has a guardian angel, but that people often scare away their guardian angels. This is a childish metaphor. A thinking person would then ask: Where is the guardian angels for children sexually abused by priests, teachers, coaches, and parents? Many of these children are abused by the ones they are taught to honor and trust. What do you Orthodox think that children do that would scare away the guardian angels in these instances? And if these are innocent children, why haven’t these  Spirit Guardians protected the children from these “adults” who molest and abuse?

You see, thinking ones see the holes in the old wineskins … the cracks and the tears. Could it be that not all have an angel, that parents, and those claiming themselves father or mother or god parent, are to be the guardians until a child is of a TIME and PLACE for calling? Could it be that when the time is ripe, God calls, but the elders do not hear this call?  And would this now be where the Prophet is of the Essence in the connectedness to the One? But where are your Prophets on Truth? WHO UNDERSTANDS THESE MESSAGES? Who speaks the Language of the Spirit? If you are of a partial mind, how can you unite with God’s Messenger and ignite? If you are MARRIED TO a Religious ____, how will you then pair with what is necessary for GIFT that you might see? Pertinent questions for sure.

Many are called; few are chosen.

And if you read essays in SPIR and all you take from this is whether or not your “religious beliefs” were mentioned favorably, or that you noticed that I (WE) mentioned having been rejected X number of times, then I fear YOU have missed the message, for I SPEAK FOR MANY—MANY WHO CANNOT SPEAK. I(WE) degrade ourselves. I am reminded of the artists like Charlie Chaplin and Vincent, who were used to send messages, and still, after all this time, the messages did not get received. Why? Because these broke from the Religious Authority of the time? Because they did not announce themselves as Father or Pope or Bishop or Pastor or Theologian or Scholar? Because they did not put on the garb of these titles, and perform in the pulpits and lecterns? I think of the scene where the Gamin steals the bread and runs into the Tramp in Chaplin’s Modern Times. The host rests between these two. How profound is this? Do you think the skimmer on SPIR will hear this message? Do you think the Patriarchal mindset can hear this call?

Seriously, folks, I really do wonder where the Language of the INNOCENT has Voice? Is it not obvious through the children, and even through the many women that God is calling you to take up the cross? Being of privilege—education, home, family, even having your room and board and all other expenses paid for by set organization (even one that receives special perks by a government demanding X that all citizens must pay into) … is telling you what?

“I think the Orthodox and Eastern Orthodox view the Christ as “Groom” but as I have shared extensively in SPIR, it is the ESSENCE that is the fixed “ordination” for coming TO THE FATHER.”

I said I would get back to this, and I will, in the next essay.

Peace and Love.

How many times has this been expressed in SPIR?

    Might I have a shadow?
