Sacrament of Reason (Part Three)

January 1, 2014

Almost a year ago to the day, I was told by a heterodox that the move in Christianity now is toward the Father. She said: there is a return to the Father.

Note: Heterodox is what the Orthodox call non orthodox and what the Roman Catholics call Protestants. I wonder if the Orthodox call the Roman Catholic  heterodox and if the Roman Catholic call the Orthodox Protestant. Also, what happens if a priest is both Catholic and Orthodox? Is he now both heterodox and Protestant, or is he called a Protestodox? Or maybe a Heterostant? For how could one be of another–different? Then again, how could one not be different from societal diatribe (discourse)? Amusing? Now you see what an orthodox spiritual sees in the landscape of religion.

Regarding that return to the Father … one needs to understand the mindset of those sharing in this. What I have seen of these practicing their belief in Christianity is a high focus on Jesus. Praise Jesus! This type of worship. My ears perked up in hearing this, and I wondered what might be their understanding in returning to the Father. Part sensed  the possibility of a move toward the Patriarchal bed of religious expression and practice. I see this because I see a lacking. This lacking is within understanding on the Parenthood God as Purpose  … within the arch-nature of a believer’s calling (many called, few chosen). Now, one must understand that to lack is not a bad thing. To thirst and hunger is better, but to lack is not bad. However, lacking without desire in God Purpose, which is to be understood spiritually as GOD RELATIONSHIP is ignorance. Saying this is neither criticism, nor is it a release from the responsibility to reason.

Okay, let’s assume all are lacking spiritual understanding. This is good for then we continue our climb, our search, our yearning for something God related (I keep the understanding on “God Relationship” somewhat vague for now).

100_0694   We are not stagnant. We move. But how do we begin understanding what is of God, and His Purpose, and what is of something other than God, or apart from God? How do we know if that return is both of the ESSENCE and ENERGY, or something apart from God as Parent? (One can’t deny Him as Parent if one calls Him Father–agreed?) So, what constitutes our understanding in this?

Surprised? Good! Now, there is a lack for learning in God Awareness.

100_0761   I can hear the wheels turning. But my pope just gave us a speech on hope and courage. Isn’t he one to tell us what we should do? My church teaches us to ____ and ____ and ____ and ____ and ____ and __________.

And the blanks continue, and will continue. Why? God is not stagnant, but are you? If so, why? If you are relying solely, without question or experience, on what a religious leader/teacher tells you you must do for God Relationship, especially if there is no mention of God or Spirit, then you are throwing all caution to the wind, and not exercising your GOD-GIVEN GIFT of REASON. You hide your light under a basket.

Matthew 5:14-16 – Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.

Mark 4:21 – And he said unto them, is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? And not to be set on a candlestick?

Matthew 5:16 – Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Mark 16:15 – And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Isaiah 49:6 – And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

Isaiah 9:7 – Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

Psalms 40:10 – I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.

James 2:18 – Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Are you feeling a little stagnant? Are you feeling somewhat lacking? God’s word is salient to the hearing–the yearning in Truth. Just as an Image can move one spiritually, so too can the Word–God’s Word. But a reasonable question at this point might be: what is needed to move one?

100_8520   What is needed for love, peace, humility, hope and even  … courage?

I read a few comments on the RC pope’s New Year’s speech to the masses. One comment caught my attention. It said that the pope’s words were man’s words. This poster also said that the pope did not mention Christ, God, Spirit … and was critical of him for this. In truth, I have been wondering about this on the RC pope’s speeches. Why does he not speak of the Father as if he knows him? Why does he not speak of the Spirit as one experienced? Why does he not share in the angelic realm and glorify the One? Why does he not witness in Truth and expound on the doctrine of Faith? Well, a clarified answer on this might be that he is man. Man speaks man words. Is this a sin? Seems fairly honest to me. I don’t think he has ever claimed to be a prophet, angel, saint, or seer … God bless him. He may be a mystic and has kept this hidden for his own reasons. So, why the harsh treatment? There will always be those who seek to ridicule. Heck, I was barely speaking, a newborn in my return, and certainly not in any type of limelight like the RC pope and I was ridiculed, and even rejected from at least four parishes, not to mention the Christianity forums. Thank God.

100_0772   We can comment, of course, and share our observations. We can even share our gifts, our spiritual experiences, but unless one is Prophet on Truth, who speaks as mouthpiece for the One, and is a what more than a who, because the Prophet is Spirit fueled for specific Works of movement in God Purpose, one might be better asking questions rather than preaching from a limited place of understanding … and this goes for not just the posters, but also those in the pulpit. Asking questions generates thought, and brings one closer to the reasons for things, even why a pope speaks as he does, limited as that may sound.

100_0736   When a child returns from school, do you tell the child how his day went, or do you ask what his day was like?

Oh, the world is such a stuffy place. Blink twice and you’re through it, but the realm of the Spirit is like the breath of a child in the wind of Autumn. The harvest is near, and along with this comes the fruits of labor.

As Saint Paul Sees  …

I demonstrated for you what it is to be a servant to men: chained in darkness. Put away the thoughts of a child. What you allow yourself to feed on is where you will sleep. If you are where you should be in one, there is your heart; but if you are not where you should be, you are there in your mind. Do not permit the goals of others to remedy the trail of thine way, but rather pursue that which is within your prayer as one.

Follow the way determined by whom you are felt. Believe in the path which endureth beyond the frame. The frame is merely a circumstance by which you see that level, but is not the membrane of Life Eternal, and certainly not the freedom in and through the One.

Excerpt from The Prayer of the Apostle Paul

You are [my] mind:

bring me forth.

You are my treasury:

open for me.

You [are] my fullness:

accept me.

You are <my> rest:

give me comprehensible perfection.

Peace and love.
