Book of Revelation: Last Book of the New Testament, or First Book of the New Vision

January 27, 2013

Enoch. Where , oh where, is Enoch … in our bibles? Or should I be asking: what, oh what, were the men thinking who kept this book from the book? But it does say in Jude 1.14:

But Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied to these as he said, “Behold, THE LORD JEHOVAH comes with myriads of his Holy Ones,

The Lost Book of Enoch: A Comprehensive Transliteration of the Forgotten Book of the Bible by Joseph Lumpkin. From here, I share these:

Chapter seven, verse one: And all of them together went and took wives for themselves, each choosing one for himself, and they began to go to them and to defile themselves with sex with them,

And included after this verse are a few verses in Genesis, and there is one I would like to include here. It’s Genesis five, verse three:

My spirit shall not always thrive with man, for that he is also flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

I had to underline this verse in the book, because it struck me as supremely relevant today. Let’s look at the Spiritual Language presented to us in verse one. All of them [man] … took wives. Wives here means LIFE OPTIONS, to put it in a broader view. All of them together chose a life option, something to pour himself into, to empty himself onto, and to make his way with. The verse continues with began to go to them to defile themselves with sex with them. This is a very interesting choice of language. Love is not mentioned in this, but sex is, and it is mentioned as a defilement of self. I understand this as man’s condition today – where he stands now – which, if we look at that lost book, might mean we should read it in the reverse. I would think.

Is this saying that ‘choosing a woman to have sex with’ is bad? I suppose it would depend on who you chose to have sex with, and how, and why, but it is also that LIFE CHOICE – what you made your God and your Religion, which is the higher understanding. I should add that this renders the Roman Catholic understanding of celibacy as way off course, because the Spiritual Understanding on Celibacy is not that a man refrain from having sex with a woman, but that he love God with all his heart,  and with all his mind, and with all his soul. Get the picture?

And then in Enoch chapter five, verse one: Observe how the trees are covered with green leaves and how they bear fruit. Understand, know, and recognize that He that lives for ever made them this way for you.

Again, let’s look at the Spiritual Language here. Green leaves and how they bear fruit. I understand green leaves to be wings – angelic “wings” – that spiritual gifting which renders one OF the angels, God’s messengers, for how else does God do Godwork? He used the angels in the Blessed Theotokos story (Mary, mother of Jesus), and with her husband, Joseph, and the Truth Prophets. It makes perfect sense.

Now, Revelation 18 begins with a shout: After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with this glory. And this angel cried mightily with a loud voice, saying,

Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird! For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.

And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.”

There’s a Revelation I can live with!
